There’s something so special about photographing multiple generations together, and this extended family session at Forest Park during golden hour was truly unforgettable. The fall colors were absolutely stunning, with golden oranges, yellows, and warm browns creating a breathtaking backdrop for this family of five—two girls, one boy—and both sets of grandparents.
This session was particularly meaningful because the client is a friend I used to go to high school with. Seeing her now as a mom to three sweet and playful kids, surrounded by her wonderful family, was such a joy to capture. Her kids brought so much energy and fun to the session, and they were absolute champs the whole time!
What made this session even more special was the presence of the grandparents. I always love when families include grandparents in their photos. These images hold such a deep sense of connection and legacy, capturing the love between generations in a way that’s priceless. I can just imagine how meaningful these pictures will be hanging on their walls, a reminder of these golden moments together.
Forest Park delivered its magic yet again, with golden hour light streaming through the vibrant trees and adding warmth to every shot. Thank you to this wonderful family for trusting me to capture your memories—I hope these photos bring a smile to your face for years to come.
