I had such a fun time photographing the Chun family for their Extended Family Session! I know Meghan through my husband Josh, since they used to work together, and as it turns out, her cousin also goes to our church. Small world moments like that always make sessions feel extra special.

We met in late May at Lafayette Square Park, which was showing off beautifully that evening. The sky was a little overcast, but I love how that made the colors of the park feel even richer and more vibrant. From the very beginning, this family had me laughing—I don’t think we stopped smiling the entire time!

We made sure to capture allll the family combinations (because when else is everyone together and dressed up?!), and every set felt full of joy. I’m so glad I had the chance to document this sweet family and all the connections that tie them together.
