This past Sunday, I had the sweetest Extended Family Session in Lafayette Square Park. My friend Emilie reached out earlier last week to see if I had any availability. Both of her brothers were in town with their families, and it was the first time in a long while that they and their mom were all together. They wanted to celebrate and remember the occasion with photos—and of course I was thrilled to say yes!

Emilie and her husband, Chase, used to be our neighbors and also went to our church, so reconnecting with them felt extra special. They have a son, Brooks, who’s now a busy little toddler, and it was such a treat getting to meet him for the first time.

The whole evening was filled with laughter, catching up, and capturing all the different family groupings. And to top it off, we couldn’t have asked for better weather—it was absolutely perfect.
