It’s always such a joy to photograph families I’ve known for years, and the Bearer family is one of those special ones. Sarah and Sam welcomed their baby boy, Soren, and I had the privilege of documenting those first sweet days at home.

Big sisters Shoshanna and Sylvia were full of energy and excitement—they couldn’t wait to show off their new baby brother. They were absolutely smitten with him, and I loved capturing their joy and tenderness in between all the giggles.

The whole afternoon felt calm and cozy, with the family snuggled up together in their charming home. We took breaks for feedings and diaper changes, but that’s one of the things I love most about in-home newborn sessions—they move at the family’s pace and allow everyone to just be themselves.

I’m so grateful to walk alongside families like the Bearers, documenting their story as it grows. Sweet Soren is already so loved, and it was an honor to capture this new chapter for them.
