A couple of weeks ago, I had the sweetest Mini Session with Stacey and Matt and their two adorable kiddos, Luke and Haddie, at Forest Park. It was one of those bright, golden days where the sun seemed to hang a little lower in the sky—still warm for October, but too beautiful to complain about.

I actually went to college with Stacey, so it was especially fun getting to catch up and meet her little family. Luke had us all laughing—he’s full of personality and energy, and his favorite part of the session was definitely when I started making fart noises (anything for those genuine smiles!). Baby Haddie was a dream—so cute and full of smiles the entire time. She loved snuggling with Mom and Dad and watching her big brother run around.

We found a lovely spot surrounded by tall grasses and the first hints of fall color starting to peek through. The light was perfect, and the whole session just felt easy and joyful—exactly what family photos should be.

I loved spending the afternoon with this crew and capturing their love and laughter. It’s always such a treat to reconnect with old friends and see them thriving in this stage of life.
