I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family of four at Tower Grove Park during golden hour. This was my first session with them, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The light was golden and warm, the park’s early fall colors created a stunning backdrop, and their two kids did such an amazing job.

It’s always a bit of a mystery how kids will respond during a session, especially when it’s their first time, but these two were naturals! They had so much fun running, laughing, and following my prompts with ease. Their playful energy made for some beautiful candid moments, and their willingness to listen made capturing those perfect family portraits a breeze.

This family is part of our school community, which made it even more special to get to know them in this setting. It’s always a joy to connect outside of school and capture these precious moments that reflect the love and connection they share.
