Some sessions feel extra special, not just because of the gorgeous light or the vibrant colors, but because of the people in front of the camera. This family of four holds a dear place in my heart. I’ve known them since college, and it has been such a joy to document their journey—from their early days as a couple to now, as parents to two lively and lovable boys.

Our session at Forest Park was bathed in the most incredible golden hour light. The park felt alive, with bold and vibrant colors framing each shot perfectly. For years, we seemed to always meet under cloudy skies, but the past two sessions have been blessed with sunshine, and it’s been a game changer! The brightness and warmth brought a whole new energy to their photos.

The boys were full of personality and made every moment of the session so much fun. From playful adventures to sweet family cuddles, they brought so much life to each frame. It’s these genuine, unscripted moments that make every session unique and unforgettable.
