This family of six absolutely shone during their golden hour session at the Forest Park Hatchery, even with a few hiccups leading up to the session! Between a sick kid and a last-minute button mishap, they faced some challenges. But you’d never know it from their photos—every smile, laugh, and moment of connection came through beautifully.

The Hatchery was bursting with peak fall colors—rich oranges, yellows, and reds that lit up in the golden hour light. The scene was so vibrant and alive, it felt like the perfect canvas for this family’s love and energy.

It was an extra special privilege to photograph the Klumbs because we go to church together. With four sweet daughters, each with their unique personalities, the session was full of fun and tenderness. The girls were amazing, bringing joy and laughter despite the circumstances. Their willingness to play and embrace the moment made for some truly magical shots.

What stood out most to me was how this family approached the session with such grace and positivity. Sometimes the unexpected happens, but their resilience and joy reminded me of what family photos are really about—capturing love and connection in the midst of life’s imperfections.
