This was my very first time working with this sweet family of four, and it couldn’t have been a more joyful session. They recently welcomed their baby girl, Murphy, and big brother Otis is settling into his new role so well.

Before I arrived, Mom and Dad mentioned that Otis isn’t usually one to smile for photographers. I assured them that I had a few tricks up my sleeve—and sure enough, it wasn’t long before he was full of grins. We played little games throughout the session to help him feel comfortable, and before long he was having the best time. His big personality shone through in every photo.

Baby Murphy was the perfect little addition, and I loved capturing those tender moments of the whole family together in their home. There’s something so special about documenting this season of life right where families spend most of their time—snuggled up, adjusting to a new rhythm, and celebrating the joy of a growing family.

I truly enjoyed my time with them and feel so honored to capture these first memories as a family of four.
