This session was extra special because it wasn’t just any family—it was one of our very best friends! Meeting at the nature playscape area of Tower Grove Park during golden hour, we were surrounded by tall trees, vibrant wildflowers, and the peak of fall’s breathtaking yellows and oranges. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect to capture this beautiful family of five.

Their two daughters and son are the same ages as my kids, and we share so much life together—living across the street, attending the same school, and worshiping together at church. Having the chance to photograph them during this season of life felt like such a privilege.

The kids brought so much energy and joy to the session, and you could truly feel the love and connection between them. Whether they were exploring the playscape, sharing a laugh, or pausing for a family hug, every moment was filled with genuine warmth.
