The McEvoy family is one of those families that makes my heart feel full every time I see them. I’ve photographed them for years now — starting with both Luca and Nico’s newborn sessions — and it’s such a gift to watch these boys grow up in front of my camera. Every session with them is a sweet reminder of how fast time moves and how special it is to document these seasons of life.
For their Fall Mini Session, we met at Tower Grove Park, where I recently stumbled upon the dreamiest little spot tucked beneath two giant willow trees. The light that evening was absolute perfection — golden hour was glowing, the color was rich and warm, and the early fall leaves were putting on a show. Everything about the setting made their session feel soft, magical, and full of life.
Aubri and Sean are such kind, easygoing parents, and their boys, Luca and Nico, are always such a joy to photograph. They’re fun, well-behaved, and so eager to jump into whatever games or prompts I give them. Their laughter and sweet sibling moments made the whole session flow so naturally.
Having photographed this family through so many stages, it’s truly beautiful to see how they’ve grown together — and how their love just keeps getting sweeter. Sessions like this remind me why I love doing what I do: capturing families year after year, watching their stories unfold, and freezing these fleeting moments before they change again.
