I had such a fun evening with the Johnson family during their Mini Session at Tower Grove Park! Jennifer and Chris were referred to me by my longtime friend, Kait — we go way back to college, and she’s been doing sessions with me for over ten years now. I always love when clients come through friends like her — it makes the session feel like special.

The Johnsons brought along their two adorable kids, Henry and Margot, and they were absolute stars in front of the camera. These two gave me so many smiles, giggles, and sweet moments as they played along with all my little games and prompts. It’s always a treat when kids are so engaged — their energy makes the photos come alive.

We met at Tower Grove Park in mid-October, right as the first pops of fall color were starting to show through. The leaves were beginning to turn gold and brown, and the light that evening was soft and golden — perfect for a cozy fall session. The weather couldn’t have been better, and the whole evening just felt easy and joyful.

Jennifer and Chris were so relaxed and kind, and you could just feel the love and laughter between their family. I’m so glad Kait connected us!
