This session with one of my favorite clients was nothing short of magical. We met at Lafayette Park during morning golden hour, and the storm the day before left everything glistening in the sunlight. The bright, airy light created a dreamy atmosphere, perfect for capturing both family moments and some stunning maternity portraits.

With two sweet girls, an energetic little boy, and another baby on the way, this family brought so much love and joy to the session. The kids were full of happiness, eagerly playing all the fun games I had planned, which made for the most genuine and lively photos. Their excitement and smiles were contagious, and I found myself grinning behind the camera the entire time.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family for years, and I think this session might be my favorite yet. It was such a contrast to the last time we were at Lafayette Park around this time of year, which turned out to be the coldest outdoor session I’ve ever done! This time, we were blessed with a surprisingly warm November day, and the relaxed, joyful vibe was reflected in every shot.

The maternity photos were especially beautiful—there’s something so special about capturing a growing family and the excitement of a new chapter ahead. This mom-to-be was absolutely glowing, and the connection between her and her family was simply heartwarming.
