Earlier this week, I sent out a last-minute text to a few friends asking if anyone would be up for a quick family photo session — I wanted to test out some new spots in Tower Grove Park before my upcoming Fall Minis this weekend. Within minutes, my friend Haley messaged back and said her family was in!

She somehow managed to rally everyone — her husband, Gilbert, and their two boys, Maddox and Riley — and get them all dressed and ready in under an hour. That alone deserves a round of applause! When they arrived, the evening light was absolutely perfect — that warm, golden-hour glow that photographers dream of.

We headed to the Nature Playscape area, one of the park’s newer spaces that opened just a few years ago, and it was the perfect spot for exploring and playing while I captured them together. The boys had a blast, and the whole session felt relaxed, fun, and full of laughter.

I’m so thankful for friends like Haley and her crew who drop everything to help me out, support my work, and make it all feel like an adventure. Love these guys so much!
